When we got the news that ENCON Equipment had been named to Rental Management's Equipment Market Movers list for the third consecutive year, there was a lot of excitement.
There was also a moment of reflection.
Because while recognition like this is something we're incredibly proud of, it's not why we do what we do.
When ENCON started, we weren't chasing awards, rankings, or industry recognition. We were trying to build something different. A company that customers could count on. A company where people answered the phone, showed up when they said they would, and worked hard to solve problems instead of creating them.
We wanted to build a company that put relationships first.
Three years later, being recognized as one of the fastest-growing equipment rental companies in North America is an incredible honor. But when we look at this achievement, we don't see a list.
We see people.
We see the technician who stays late to get a machine ready because a customer needs it first thing in the morning.
We see the driver making one more delivery before heading home.
We see branch teams working through challenges, solving problems, and doing whatever it takes to keep customers productive.
We see customers who trusted ENCON when we were much smaller than we are today.
We see partners who believed in us and supported our growth along the way.
Growth doesn't happen because of a logo on a building. It happens because of people who care.
And if we're being honest, building a company isn't always glamorous. There have been long days, difficult decisions, growing pains, and plenty of lessons learned along the way. Every business owner knows that growth isn't a straight line.
That's why this recognition means so much.
Not because of the ranking itself, but because it reflects years of hard work from people who show up every day determined to do things the right way.

Three consecutive years on the Market Movers list is something we're proud of.
But we're even more proud of how we got here.
And while it's important to celebrate milestones like this, we're not focused on looking backward.
